Synopsis
With his video camera the director mingles with the crowd in Tahrir Square at the height of the revolution and films one of the most direct, moving and poetic eye-witness accounts of the Egyptian uprising. His presence is almost invisible amongst the crowd, but at the same time he absorbs all their emotions and states of mind. Amongst the thousands of people there, attention is focused on three young people who camp in the square, Ahmed, Elsayed and Noha, who discuss under a tent, exasperated by Mubarak’s long reign and ready to stay in Tahrir Square as long as they resist. Then, with the fall of the regime, the joy and all the doubts and worries on the future and how to build up a democracy.
