Synopsis:
Feeling death approach, but without any apparent reason, an old poet who lives free of charge in a hotel by a river calls his two children , with whom he has not had any relations for a long time, to come and see him. After having been betrayed by the man she lived with, a young woman takes a room in the same hotel. As she needs moral support, she asks a friend of hers to stay with her. In this hotel by the river, where the guests seem to be studying one another, life is harsh for everyone, and the days always seem to begin all over again.
