Synopsis:
Beshay has never left the leper colony in the Egyptian desert where his family abandoned him when he was a baby. After the death of his wife, he decides for the first time to go and look for his origins. He takes an orphan under his wing and together they set off in search of a family. It is an initiatory journey, a road movie in deepest Egypt, which with a lightness of tone speaks about poverty, religious taboos and exclusion.
