Gustavo Saavedra Calle
Gustavo Saavedra Calle is a filmmaker and audiovisual Communicator who graduated from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, specialized in communication strategies for a sustainable social development. His relationship with filmmaking started in 2008 as the 2nd assistant director on Claudia Llosa’s movie The Milk of Sorrow. In 2011 he founded the social communication agency El Directorio. As a director, he has made a documentary called The Word of the Mute about the political artist Jota Castro. He also has made videoclips and animated films. The Grandfather is his first feature film.
