Marouan Omara & Johanna Domke
Born in Cairo, Marouan Omara is a director and visual artist. General Director of the Regional Conference for Arab Independent Cinema, he teaches Cinema at the American University of Cairo. Born in Germany, Johanna Domke studied Fine Arts and then took an interest in the cinema, graduating in Screenwriting and Directing. Her art videos have been screened in various artistic institutions all over the world. Together, they made the experimental documentary The Crop, which was presented at the Rotterdam Film Festival 2013 and then selected for various international festivals.
