Sergio Scavio
Sergio Scavio, born in Sassari in 1976, directed his first short film The Night of Cesare after a career divided between cultural commitment and teaching of cinematographic subjects. He has directed several festivals and film shows in Sardinia, he is the president of the historic Cineclub Aguaplano in Sassari. He founded and directed the Scuola Civica di Cinema in Sassari. He taught at the Faculty of Communication Science in Sassari (lab cinema) and now teaches Theory and Analysis of Film at the Accademia delle Belle Arti Sironi in Sassari. He is a member of the Sardinia Film Commission board of directors.
