Xing Jian
Born in 1984 in Liao Ning Province, Xing Jian started to learn painting at a very young age. He graduated from Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts Middle School and Meishi Film Academy of Chongqing University, film photography major. His debut feature Seven Days won Best Art Contribution Award at the 39th Montreal World Film Festival in 2015. Winter After Winter, his second film, was screened at the last edition of the Rotterdam Festival.
